Garbage transportation in Menteng Urban Village, Central Jakarta is converted into night. It is purposed not to cause pollution and disrupt urban village office services adjacent to temporary garbage disposal site.

"At Anyer TPS, six RWs use it. If garbage is transported in afternoon, it will cause pollution, congestion, and disrupt urban village office services," expressed Agus Sulaeman, Head of Menteng Urban Village, Wednesday (4/11).
According to him, transportation in the afternoon was previously complained by the locals. It is because the TPS position is in front of the urban village office. Thus transportation schedule had to be changed at night.

The policy has been applied since Monday (11/9), and has been socialized to the locals and RT/RW caretakers.
